I was born and mostly raised in a small town in rural Indiana, USA. I grew up surrounded by books. My dad had a huge collection of novels (mostly science fiction) and by age 12 I was reading everything I could. Continues to this day as I've collected a large number of science fiction and fantasy books as well.

My college degree is in computer programming. When I first got into graphics, I was writing my own raytracers. One project I did in college was to write routines to programmatically simulate the growth of trees.

My hobbies have included (at various times, sometimes all at once), photography, theater, writing, reading, music, and computer based graphics and design. Each of these has an effect on the project I'm working on today.

I  hope you enjoy reading and learning about the Lante'lei as much as I am enjoying creating them. I have many long-term plans for this project which I hope will come to fruition. I already have enough ideas of where to take this story that I could write 6 full length books from it.
